Pimples or acne can be very frustrating. In this Blog, I tell you my honest view on how you can treat it well, if not once and for all.

DON’T TOUCH YOUR FACE

Your hands encounter grime and bacteria constantly throughout the day. And each time you touch your face, some of those pore-clogging impurities may get transferred to your skin.
After scratching nose or any parts of your face, wash your hands regularly, and try to touch your face as little as possible.

LIMIT SUN EXPOSURE OR SIMPLY USE SPF AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN


Frequent sun exposure dehydrates the skin, which over time causes it to produce more oil and block pores. It’s important to wear sunscreen to help prevent skin cancer. For both sun and pimple protection get yourself an oil-free sunscreen.

PLEASE DON’T POP YOUR PIMPLES


It is tempting to squeeze, scratch or pop your pimples but please, DON’T Popping pimples may cause bleeding, severe scarring, or infection. It may also increase inflammation and clog surrounding pores, making your pimple problem worse.

WASH YOUR PILLOWS


Greasy or oily shampoos, body washes, shaving creams, and hair styling products may all cause pimples. To help prevent outbreaks, choose oil-free, noncomedogenic options

AVOID CERTAIN FOODS


Avoid eating or try reducing certain foods such as chips, dairy foods, white bread, nuts
Living healthy lifestyle is simpler that you can imagine. Eating right, reducing stress, and not popping pimples may help contain them and reduce how long they stay around.

WASH YOUR FACE WELL AND EVERYDAY


There are different methods to wash your face to help reduce acne or pimples.
Make your you’re not washing with very harsh chemicals as it can trigger that too.
Now to wash your face: Wet your face with warm, not hot, water.
Apply a mild cleanser in a gentle, circular motion using your fingers, not a washcloth.
Rinse thoroughly, and pat dry. (It is best if your cleanser contains a little amount of AHA and BHA ingredients).

Believe me it will not dry out your skin, neither will it trigger anything.

APPLY YOUR FACE MASK


Yes, this will help exfoliate dead skin to reveal your new glow.

Make sure your’e using mask that’ll hydrate your skin. Use products that do not contain too many ingredients and also they’re cruelty free.
Ingredients like clay, witch hazel, BHA, retinoids, AHA,

hydrogen peroxide, Benzyl peroxide and other oils (find them below) will help reduce acne.

USE RIGHT TONERS


There are so many products on the market, claiming to help you reduce acne or pimples, Instead, they make them worse. The reason being that they tend to add too many ingredients in one product whilst others use different ingredients that do not work the same way as others. Understand what you want and need otherwise, you will simply waste money. RAED LABELS, AND MAKE SURE YOU BUY FROM TRUSTED BRANDS.

MOISTURISE


Moisturizers help skin stay hydrated. But many moisturizers contain oil, synthetic fragrance, or other ingredients that may irritate skin and cause pimples. make sure you use fragrance-free moisturizers after you wash your face or when your skin feels dry.
To help prevent side effects such as redness, irritation, and dryness, precisely follow the manufacturer’s usage instructions.

STAY Hydrated


If you’re dehydrated, your body may signal your skin’s oil glands to produce more oil. To keep your body well-hydrated, drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day. Drink more after exercise, if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or you spend time in a hot, humid environment.

TRY THESE OIL

Peppermint oil, Menthol oil, Cinnamon oil, Camphor oil, Mint oil and Tea tree oil are popular remedy for pimples.
To use these oils combined or any of them, apply a couple drops mixed with jojoba oil to the inflamed area. You can also add a few drops to your daily cleanser or moisturizer if they don’t contain any.

WARNING
Prior to using undiluted oil on your face, do a patch test to see if it irritates your skin. Apply a few drops behind your ear or to your forearm, and wait several hours. If irritation occurs, dilute the oil using a 60-40 ratio before using.

Because pimples are usually triggered by androgen hormones and, in some cases, genetics, there’s no surefire way to prevent them. however, there are many methods to reduce their severity and keep them in check.
Knowing your skin type will help you choose the right skin care products. Oily or combination skin. The oily areas tend to be your forehead, nose, and chin, also called your T-zone whilst Combination skin means you have both dry areas and oily areas.
Over-the-counter (OTC) acne treatments have helped lots of people in treating their pimples fast or prevent them. Most products contain benzoyl peroxide, hydrogen peroxide, AHA, salicylic acid, Azelaic acid ,retinoids or sulfur.
Always remember that patience and consistency are key
